Pickup

Boulder Area Pickup

Foothills Community Park (aka Violet fields), located in North West Boulder against the foothills off Violet and Broadway.


  • “Summer” (March, after daylight savings starts – October): Tuesday & Thursday – 5:30pm; Note: When GRU Summer League has games on Tuesdays, pickup is on Thursday only.


  • “Winter” (November, after daylight savings ends – March): Sundays – 1:00pm



This is the usual GRU community pickup.

Changes to GRU Board of Directors

We wanted to take a quick moment to wish you all the best for this holiday season, hoping that you will be enjoying the winter wonders of Colorado during the ultimate off-season.

Grass Roots Ultimate is primarily a volunteer-run organization, incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit. It is governed by a Board of Directors. Although the membership of the board tends to fluctuate, the last several years have been fairly stable; however, in 2009 several of our long-serving volunteer board members have decided to refocus their energies elsewhere. We thank them for their commitment to GRU and hope that we will continue to see them on the fields for many years to come. Please join us in thanking them:
